I know of no other person who has done for her community than Debbie Cook (CA-46) running against Dana Rohrabacher. I know she will get similar results in Washington.
Take a look at her new TV ad now running:

Right now, Blue America is running a contest. The candidate that gets the most votes will get $10,000 from Blue America. This will enable us to keep Debbie's ads up on TV longer. You can see from Debbie's ads and her bio, that she's kind of the Anti-Palin, a community organizer, PTA mom, but with progressive values.
All you have to give is $1! Here's the link. The contest ends at 12 noon, PST, today.
Some more about Huntington Beach Mayor Debbie Cook:
Here's an interview she did with Talking Points Memo. TPM Interview
In early July, the Debbie Cook campaign performed a benchmark poll of the 46th District which shows that we have a historic opportunity to win this election. Global Strategy Group has prepared an overview of the poll and highlights their main findings in their memo. The poll shows us what we have known all along: the district wants change in Washington D.C., and when they meet Debbie we can defeat Congressman Rohrabacher in November. The poll comes as no surprise to the Cook campaign and it supports our campaign strategy to win in November.
Furthermore, the district has been changing over the past 4 years, giving and lessening the inherent disadvantage towards a Democrat in this district.
Since the last Presidential election there has been a net loss of 6,949 Republicans, a gain of 3,463 Democrats, gain of 6,781 DTS and minor party voters. In total, that is a shift 17,193 voters away from Republicans. The poll shows that the registration numbers are these numbers are not an anomaly -- only 36% of voters here think Rohrabacher is doing a good job, President Bush has 38% favorable rating, and the Presidential race is a statistical dead heat between Barack Obama and John McCain in the 46th District. Between the shift in voter registration and the polling numbers, it is clear that the voters of the 46th congressional district are ready for new leadership.
When voters hear our message, Debbie wins.
Here's her bio:
For Debbie Cook, serving the community isn’t just words, it’s a way of life.
In the years after graduating from Cal State Long Beach, Debbie Cook became a PTA mother, a community volunteer and a youth sports coach, all while running her own business.
In 1989, after years serving her community, she could not stand by while developers threatened to destroy her city’s parks. Without any political experience, Debbie led a group that collected 18,000 signatures for a successful ballot measure that requires voter approval to build in public parks or on beaches.
At 37 she became an attorney and joined the California Bar. She became a part of the Bolsa Chica Land Trust legal team, winning a case that protects sensitive coastal habitat throughout California.
Elected to the Huntington Beach City Council, she uncovered public corruption, and led the fight for balanced city budgets. As mayor she led the fight to stop the Orange County Sanitation District from dumping partially treated sewage into the ocean, resulting in cleaner water for our beaches.
She is a nationally recognized leader on energy issues and speaks across the country on bringing people together to build a new economy based on renewable energy.
Debbie has lived in southern California for more than 40 years, and currently lives in Huntington Beach with her husband John. She has one son and one grandson.
